If you want to see some of the most extravagant Christmas lights displays in the country…travel with us to Brooklyns famous Dyker Heights!
Dazzling light displays, glowing Nativity scenes, mechanical reindeer, large inflatable Christmas decorations, animatronic toys and 30 foot toy soldiers are just a part of what you will see on this tour of breathtaking light displays. This is a holiday phenomenon like no other!
The tour begins at Time Out Market in DUMBO, where you will have time on your own for an early dinner. Once you’ve enjoyed the market’s diverse food offerings, we’ll head further into Brooklyn to visit two iconic neighborhoods: the Italian-American section of Dyker Heights and the Bay Ridge community.
Dyker Heights was made famous in the 2001 PBS documentary “Dyker Lights” and on TLC’s “Crazy Christmas Lights.” Each year, these residents compete to have the biggest, best, and brightest decorations in the city. To conclude our festive evening, our driver will take us past Rockefeller Center for a final view of the stunning window displays and the world-famous NYC Christmas tree.
There will be walking on this tour – please dress warm and wear comfortable shoes!
